SUPPORT COLUMNS - FRAMING STRUCTURE - STAIRS - RAILS AND GATES - PALLET DROPS AND DECKS

SUPPORT COLUMNS: minimum 4"x 4" square steel tubing with 5/8" thick base plates, designed to meet AISC standards for vertical , lateral, and seismic loads. Columns are free-standing, not anchored to building walls, and are anchored to floor with 5/8" x 4" anchors minimum.

FRAMING STRUCTURE: Hot rolled steel I beam with maximum deflection of L/360. Deck beams are 12-gauge roll-formed steel channels with maximum deflection of L/360. Framing connections utilize ASTM A325M high-strength bolts. All deck heights and sizes are standard.

STAIRS: bolt-together structural stairs fabricated to meet OSHA and BOCA requirements with closed treads and risers. Landings are provided when stairs run parallel to the mezzanine perimeter.

RAILS AND GATES: Side or top-mount. Swing, pivot, or lift-out gates are designed to meet all local safety codes.

PALLET DROPS: 4' x 6' manufactured of 1/8" thick diamond plate and fastened to grating or corrugated deck underlayment.

DECKS: options for decking material include resindeck, diamond plate, plywood over corrugated deck, bar grating, and luan over plywood for in-plant office applications. Tile or carpet also available.

Strongbox Mezzanines will not be responsible for concrete slab testing, footings, or building permits.

WARRANTY: 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship including labor and materials if damage or defects have occurred as a result of normal wear and tear.

COLORS: standard colors include black, gray, light gray, tan, and blue. Custom colors also available.

Beam to Column Connection	Side-mounted handrails

The Strongbox beam-to-column connection completely eliminates the need for gussets so the deck can be cantilevered in areas where columns cannot be located. This feature, along with side-mounted handrail, enables the use of every inch of your valuable storage space. All structural steel stairs are bolt-together and are made to fit in areas where other system's stairs cannot.
